The Office of Emergency Management can assist personnel in creating a personal emergency preparedness plan. Emergency preparedness plans are particularly useful for individuals who:
- May not be able to hear fire alarms
- May not be able to see visual alarms or directional signs
- May not speak or sign the same language as emergency responders
- May require assistance during an evacuation
- Have other concerns not listed here and want to discuss with emergency professionals
