The following security and property protection services, under a contract with a private security company, are in place:
- Site Access Manager, x4551
- Gate access control, x4551
- Two roving patrols, 24 hours per day
- Alarm monitoring and dispatch 24 hours per day
- Building security checks after hours and on weekends
Through a MOU with the UCBPD, LBNL receives the full services of the UC Berkeley Police Department, which includes general law enforcement, response to emergencies, and criminal investigations, as required.
