The Site Access Office oversees and controls all Berkeley Lab site visits to maintain the security of operations and authorized access to the Lab, its buildings, and facilities, in accordance with security requirements for a national laboratory.
Badges are designed to link a person’s identity and manage an individual’s ability to physically access Berkeley Lab-controlled premises. A DOE-approved badge or prior arrangement through the site access office is required to enter Berkeley Lab-controlled spaces.
